While you were in the house, I was actually terrified that you guys would break something. Thankfully, there were no major catastrophe. I am sure you would agree that the owners were very kind and very brave to let us into their house.

The Gecko!

The terrified gecko tried to hide from us.

Here are the photographs we took during the fish activity.

Hi guys,

I have improved on the body covering song. The lyrics are as follows:

All our bodies have coverings.
Hair, shell, scales and feathers, their names.
Mammals have hair, fish have scales,
Birds have feathers and turtles have shells.”
(sang to the tune of Scarborough Fair)

This was how you sang it:

Hi guys,

We are entering into week six of the new school term.  It felt like yesterday when I witnessed all of you stumbling back too school after your long vacation.  I hope you are now comfortably settled in.  Looking back, we have covered quite a bit of ground in our school work too.

For English, we are already moving to unit two of the course book.  For Mathematics, we are done with addition and subtraction of whole numbers and we are starting the chapter on multiplication.   As for Science, we should be wrapping up the classification of animals in week 6 and we are going to start on classification of plants real soon.   So look forward to a more hectic pace of life as the momentum picks up.

I am still not able to update this site as frequently as I would like to this.  This week my daughters wanted me to spruce up our family blog as I have been neglecting it since the new term started.  So, I took some time to add a few recent entries on it.

I had taken some pictures and videos of 3D while in the computer lab last week.  Unfortunately, I left my camera in school so I couldn’t have them uploaded.  I will put them up this week.

Have a great weekend and see you in class. :)

Congratulations to these pupils who had attained the Five Stars Award for their spelling and dictation.
